Thanks to Pat and Amy for everything in this section of the post! (And much from the t-shirt post too! I didn't list names for the t-shirts because its been a while now and I don't remember everyone who helped me! But thank you everyone!) Pat and Amy made everything except for the autograph pages which a fellow DISer sent me and I do not know who made them. Thank you! Thank you!

More to come...

I'm really curious...How did you make the passports? From scratch? Or did you just modify something? They look really neat and I'm thinking if I could do it, I'd love to make a set of these.

Also, the journal...is it just a customized spiral notebook?

ksloane,
Here is the link where Pat put the passport pages. There is a thread partway down the page that has info in it. Dr&Mom figured out and made the document to print them correctly.

Here are the directions I was sending people.

Page 1 is one side -- Page 2 is the back side. Odd pages on one side of paper evens on the other.

I used 115 pound cardstock because that is what I had. It worked great but I would not go any heavier than that. Someone else used 65 pound. It just has to be thick enough so you can't see the printing on the other side.

I cut the inside pages slightly smaller and the outer pages a little bigger. If you don't then by the time the cover page is wrapped around all the others it is too small. I hope that makes sense.

I put clear contact paper on both sides of the outer page and cut it slightly larger that the cover. So I have a tiny amount of clear all the way around that page. I thought if I only put it on the outside of the cover the edge might eventually get sticky. A pen does write on the contact paper.

Put 3 staples in the center seam to finish.

Angela

Thanks. I've printed it out on my black and white laser and I'm really excited...Can't wait to print it in color. I think I'm going to put it on my flash drive and take it to my local office supply store, Staples, and see how it would turn out if they printed...I know they have much better color printers that I do.

Wow your things look fantastic.
I hope you had a great vacation!
I love the passport for Epcot.
Are you booked for another trip yet?:rotfl2:

All of this is a big WOW! But the passport books are very impressive. I kept trying to figure out what you had "altered" from the bought books. I can't believe the whole book is "handmade."

Hi There!

I love the idea of those rubber wrist bands. What type of information did you put on them?

I'm hoping my projects come out as well as yours did! The projects are what is helping me kill the time until our next trip. ;)

I put the kid's name and our cell phone number on there. That way, just in case they got separated from us, someone could call us and we'd connect again ASAP! Thank God we didn't have that happen! Our kids are little, so I tried to teach them that if they got lost, they should find another mommy with a baby and show her the band and ask her to call me.

Even since we've been home, the 2 year old wants to wear it when we go out. :lmao: Especially when we went to the airport again. I guess he got the concept!

Thanks for all the posts. I'm sorry I haven't been back to these boards much since our trip. If anyone didn't get any info they needed please PM me and I'll respond faster.

Pat is the designer who made them. She deserves all the credit. :thumbsup2 All I did was get them lined up straight in Word and print them and put them together. They did turn out very well and kids enjoyed using them!

Oh and can you share the snack credit and other sheet [not tour guide mike] that you simplified?? I would love to take that....Thanks.

Trish

Sorry I didn't notice your post before your trip! I hope you had a great time! I would have been happy to share the snack sheet--I'm sure you have no use for it now!

I designed the "See no Evil" What happens in Disney design. So glad the CMs liked it too!

Hi, just back from my trip! I'd love to send you the spreadsheets, but I really can't. Tour Guide Mike's site makes you promise not to share any info like that as it is a paid site. It only costs $20 to join and it has a lot of useful info although it is kind of difficult to navigate.

Just came across the awesome post. I have TGM, did you print the spreadsheets from the TGM monika's sheets, or did you create them from the info you got from TGM? I am find it difficult to navigate his site and would like to do something like this.

I love your Cars shirts. Do you remember at all who helped you with those designs? We are going in January and I'd like to make some shirts.

So sorry, I can't remember! It's been so long now. I started collecting designs months before our September trip. I found them all by looking through the designers pages through the links at the top. I can tell you that the majority of the designs I used came from Pat and Amy, so I'd start with theirs. But other designers definately helped me out too! Please designers don't take my lack of knowledge about who created what, as lack of appreciation! I am amazed by what you all come up with and I really appreciate your willingness to share and even create or customize designs to meet everyone's desires! The number of designs you've all created and I've admired are just soooo many that I get confused (especially months later) about who did what.

Everyone is so nice here though, that if you start another thread describing the design or posting the picture--someone will know and give you the info!

did you buy your shirts? I saw one tag for old navy. What transfer paper did you use?

I know I was on her website before and now I can't find it!!! I reallly wanted to get them for our upcoming trips!! Thanks...all of your stuff looks so GREAT!!

I was looking at one of the first posts you did for the ddp snacks. Where did you find all that information? Also, I think you're in my neck of the woods, I recognized the (630) & (847) #'s on the kid's id bracelets. I'm in Bourbonnais.
