Are we nuts to consider this?

We fly in Thurs, 10/26, plane lands around 6:15 pm. Since we leave Sunday, I was wondering about doint the Halloween party Thursday night. At this point we don't have tickets. We are being picked up by a car service with a stop at Publix. We are staying at FW, so by the time we get to FW, check in, get to MK, is it worth considering? Also to consider...nearly 5 year old who may or may not sleep on the plane, but we'll be on Central time so it won't be as late as it seems. How late is Mickey's party anyway?

It goes until midnight - we did the same thing, flew in, scheduled to arrive at 6:15 pm - and planned on going straight to MK for the MNSSHP. Flight was delayed an hour - I knew when I bought the tickets it was a gamble. But we grabbed our checked luggage, rental car, checked in to our hotel & and made it to the park at 8:30 approx. - we did have a blast and had plenty of time to see most things.
