ARe we going to regret wdw @ Christmas??

We are booked at POR for Dec. 19th-25th. Are we crazy? This is our first mommy and daughter trip, hopefully one of many. The last time we went with her daddy in May and the weather and crowds were perfect. She is not a HUGE ride fan, I think she just likes the thrill of it all. What are opinions about going at this time?

We are there from Dec 20th to Jan 4....It is the most crowded but it is the most Magical ever...the decorations are awesome...don't forget to visit the other hotels...the fireworks are a little more spectaular.....Don't regret it one second...

We were there last year at Xmas time (12/21-26) and found the crowds grew everyday as it got closer to Xmas. The first 2 days were very nice and by the 25th we did not want to go near the parks. MK was closed to capacity by 10:30 am. If you plan correctly and get early starts you will have a very nice time. We were always through at the parks by 1 or 2 o'clock. We would have a late lunch at a resort, swim, play mini golf, or just hang out. We stayed at OKW so we had lots of room. We would go back to the parks at night for fireworks or special events (CP, Osborne lights{boo hoo not this year}). If you are not determined to experience everything WDW has to offer, take your time and soak up the atmosphere, you will have a magical holiday trip.

How could anyone regret being at Disney ever?!!!

Keeping in mind it will be very busy, but hey it's the holidays and WDW would be a magical as ever! If you plan, have realistic expectations and relax you'll have a great time!


I am alittle jealous, we were in WDW this past July and I keep trying to plot a way to get us back there again. We'll be lucky to be able to go again next summer.
