Are we going to have a Heatwave??

I keep hearing that this summer is going to be HOT!!!

What do you guys think? Is it time to start buying fans

I hope so! I keep going out in T-shirts and sandals, in a desperate hope that it might actually make the weather hot, but so far all I've got is goosepimples and a sniffle

A heatwave would be very nice right now. Our boiler's broken again, and if you think it wouldn't make a difference in May, you'd be wrong

It's Metcheck who have predicted a heatwave. Last summer they predicted that the summer wouldn't be a good one and they were right but they said the winter just gone would be one of the worst on record and they were wrong so who knows?!

Yu can bet your bottom dollar there'll be a heatwave from the 7th to the 26th August - that's when we'll be in Florida and whenever we go away somewhere hot, no matter what time of the year, the weather is always nice over here

Bound to be, Annie! We are over in WDW from Aug 13th-30th and the same always happens to us!!

We go away on 11th August. The heatwave is predicted for 12th August!! In 2003 we were in Denmark for the worst of it, in 1976 (if you remember that far back) I went to Sweden on an exchange trip, so I expect the predictions to be true.
