Are we crazy?

My DH and I only have one free week to go on vacation, and we had planned to go to WDW (of course! ;)). The only problem is that we would be there the week before Easter. Are we crazy for going at this time? We have fully refundable hotel ressies, and no plane tickets yet (not hard to get from NYC), so it's not too late to back out. Honestly, we'd rather not go if the crowds are going to be unbearable. We've gone a lot during "spring break" before, but never right before Easter, which I've heard is the busiest time in WDW (besides Christmas and New Years). Any comments? Any advice? Anything at all is SO appreciated!

As long as you are prepared for LARGE crowds you'll be fine. Each day you get closer to Easter will be more crowded. There are a handful of day's right before and after Easter that they close the gates to some of the parks.

That being said, I think w/ careful planning you can accomplish some stuff. If you've been recently and are going to be able to go again soon, then you should be fine. Because what you can't do now, you'll do next time. If this is one of those once every 5 years trips, then I wouldn't go. But that's me.

Armed with the right info, helps to make a good decision. The only other thing is all the "prime" PS's are gonna be harder to get because you are under the 90 day window.

I agree with Kilee. With carefully planning you should be fine but there will be large numbers of people in the parks at that time.

If you have the option of using that week at a slower time you might want to do that instead.
