Are we crazy?? Thinking of making a quick F&W trip.

Okay...so after swearing we were going to take this year off my DH and myself have started contemplating making our Anniversary Trip Columbus Day weekend during the F&W festival. I am checking with a friend that owns DVC to see if she rents points (I forget where she owns; I think Saratoga). Anyway, am I crazy to think I could get a studio reservation at the 7 month mark at BWV or BCV? I can't even believe we are thinking of it since we said we were takign the year off but we can add the counter service dining and it would be so "reasonable." Anyway, am I correct in thinking that is a super popular time for DVC? Thanks for your help.

Nothing is impossible. It is one of the most popular times of the year though. If you are gonna do it, act now.

Book what you can at 7 months and then waitlist if you have to. There is usually some space available at 7 months. You might be among those lucky enough to gt it.

Columbus Day weekend is popular, though so there will be lots of competition for BCV and BWV rooms.

Thanks for the replies. If we were lucky enough to get BWV or BCV we could forego the rental car. Else, DH insists we get them as he can't stand the buses. I tried to say it would be easier without the kids, but he wouldn't go for it. Here's hoping for some pixie dust.

When going to F&W, I prefer NOT to drive. We own at BWV for the ability to walk to Epcot. I love the frozen cosmo drink at France so driving shouldn't be an option for me after spending the day at Epcot for F&W.

No studios at BCV for the weekend of Columbus Day for consecutive nights. I called 2 days ago. I had to change to a different weekend to get 5 nights together. I don't own at BWV, so I don't know about their availability.
