Can WDW park hopper tickets, with the no expiration option, be used at DL? I have the chance to go to both parks next summer, and I am trying to figure out the best, and cheapest way, of getting tickets?

Actually, short answer... yes.

Scroll down to 'Using Walt Disney World Tickets at Disneyland'

WDW tickets are mnore expensive than DL tickets, so you can't go the other way and use DL tickets at WDW. It may or may not be cost-effective to use your WDW days at DL, so do a little math before you decide.

My guess is NO. One is a "Walt Disney World" ticket and the other is a "Disneyland" ticket. The park name on the front pretty much sums up where it's good at. Sorry :(

Yes, you can. You CAN use DisneyWORLD tickets at Disneyland (only tickets not AP's) but you CAN NOT use DisneyLAND tickets at Disneyworld. The reason is because WDW tickets are much more expensive. Why someone would want to do this I am not sure since it would cost so much more but if you want to you can.

Wow Pezpam. I had no idea! It doesn't seem fair that you can use your left over WDW days at Disneyland but not use an annual pass at Disneyland.

We went to both parks this summer. We have annual passes at WDW and would have loved to use them at Disneyland, but you can't. It's funny that this post should come along now because my husband and I have been talking about this, that it would be great if you could use them at both. I understand the part about using your unused WDW "daily" passes at Disneyland since they are more expensive, but it sure would have been nice if we could have used our WDW annual passes (more expensive too) at Disneyland. Oh well. Good Luck with your trip.

HOLY COW! I totally stand corrected :thumbsup2

In all my years... I was always told no...

WOW! :earseek:

Kinda stinks for us since we have PAP's & have been thinking about a trip to DL/DCA.

Thanks for correcting me!

My DM tried this as she has an old WDW PH and was told no at DL. This was about 18 mos ago.

I have personally used a day from an older WDW park-hopper ticket at DL. On another trip some friends of ours used a day from a Magic Your Way ticket from WDW at DL, so I can personally confirm that both old and current WDW tickets can be used at DL (as long as they're not expired). :thumbsup2 This was in Jan and June of 2006.

I used a remaining day of a WDW parkhopper 15 day pass at Disneyland in April 2006 with no problems. Just showed it at turnstile and they exchanged it for a day parkhopper for Disney Resort. Nice way to use up an "extra"/unused day once I returned home from Florida (I live in LA). Kept the magic going---but didn't do much for jet lag! I was told you can't do this with a annual pass and you can't use Disneyland passes at WDW.

I have encountered this ALOT with CM's at DL and WDW. And mostly w/ Disney Dining. A DIFFERENT STORY depeding on which CM you speak to!

Thanks for the info folks!
