Oh I was hoping I would find this thread again!
Just back from our three week trip. Imagine our "surprise" when we arrived at the hotel to be told that Virgin had cancelled our booking ten days before we arrived, hadn't bothered telling us (we had paid months ago and had the vouchers). Virgin weren't in their office (at 5.30pm) to help sort it out, and the hotel was fully booked! We also couldn't use the dining plan or our park tickets as they were linked to the booking. Disney were brilliant at helping us and finding us a bed for the night but Virgin were appalling - it took 4 days for everything to get sorted and we had to chase constantly. We were promised compensation and an explanation as to what had happened from them - didn't receive a thing from them at the hotel so came home expecting to have received a letter about it, at the very least apologising for the problems. Not a word.
It will be a cold day in hell before they ever get a penny of my money again.
