If someone opens an umbrella in front of a crowd of people behind them that have nowhere else to go, or turns to look behind them and moves the umbrella suddenly, or bends down and moves the umbrella, those all can cause injury to, or at least bump and annoy, a passer-by who was still "watching where they're going."I love my umbrella. I suffer with heat so this saves me. Plus it makes everyone walk around me. always use an umbrella.
Sorry if you don’t watch where you’re going. But I could pass out if I don’t have it.
Granted, are people often that close to your personal space that it would likely happen, maybe not. But when the park is very crowded and you're packed in like sardines, I would say yes. Some non-umbrella using people are oblivious, but so are some umbrella users.
