Are threads removed if the webmaster doesn't like the topic

I asked a question relating to bed bugs because of something I read on yahoo regarding NYC hotels. It was asked without pointing fingers but asking to see if affects other peoples travel plans and also hoping to find out how people check there rooms when checking in and if they have found them did they have any problem getting a different room. The post was up less than 24 hours and when I went back to see if any more replies it was gone. Did I so something wrong ? I wrote the webmaster but hasen't replied to me.

Also wrote a thread re the upcomming playoffs. Big Yankee fan and not happy my team isen't there..that to was removed.

Our there taboo topics here... yankee fan, and bed bugs? Any thoughts.

No, a mod wouldn't close a thread about the Yankees or bed bugs unless it got nasty or insulting. The only forbidden topics are religion and politics...or just plain meaness. I'm trying to pull up your posts, but for some reason, it won't give me the option. Maybe someone else can do it and post a link to your threads or explain why they were closed (which I doubt they were.). Your threads probably got buried several pages back.

thanks. when I pulled up my post and threads I started the yankee and bedbug post are missing. It was wasen't mean or bad language but a simple ?. Because bedbugs are such a problem .. it's a little unsettling when they turn up at the empire stae bldg,nike flag ship store in nyc and othe landmakrs in nyc .. wow.

Yeah, bedbugs are getting really bad. It's scary. My daughter just came back from D.C. and I went over the rules about not leaving luggage on the floor or on the bed, etc.

Even if a thread gets closed for some reason, it usually lingers so you can still read it. It has to be pretty bad if it goes poof completely. The mods on here are great. They just want everyone to get along or at the very least be civil.

thanks for the suggestion about not leaving luggage on the bed. everyone here is great with helpful hints. it helps all of us. thanks again. by the wAY LOVE CALIFORNIA. our ds who is a senior this year always says he want sot be a plane ride away form us... loves USC.

No problem! Relax...you can post without worry here. The mods aren't board nazis. The only line you have to worry about crossing is the stuff I mentioned in the first post. Oh, and no advertising or spam.

thanks for the update abt spam and advertising. never thought someone would advertise but i'm glad they keep it out. spam ..ehen i think of that .. i think of the tower of spam that's located ..i think in minnesota. Its in the lobby of the company that makes it. a real tower i'm told. thanks again for your help.
