I finally got the money for a cruise...finally decided on disney...and they seem to be booked! Any tips? Do cancellations happen if so,who would list rooms on the internet? or should I go thru a travel agent?

If I cant get Disney, what would be a second choice?

Thanks!!

MattMax,

Are you Female or Male? If you are female, I have a reservation for 7/23/05 to 7/30/05 off of LA to the Mexican Riveria. I am in desperate need of finding a cabinmate to share the cost. It was booked for 2 but my daughter had to cancel so all I have to do is change the name on the booking. It has to be done by tomorrow tho. Write back kamiafive@yahoo.com. I am 44 a non smoker, easy going. I will be meeting cousins on board so you could either join us or be solo or both as you would like. I have a Cat. 11 stateroom on the 7th deck.

have you checked

costco, icruise.com, dreams unlimited, sams travel club,

just to name a few sites.

what dates are you looking for? and is this out of florida?

i know they have availablity for my 6/5 4 day cruise left at
www.icruise.com

No, they are not all booked. I've been on the fence about joining the West Coast sailing in July. The first two weeks of July they are not allowing additional kids under 12. The last two look good. The only issue is the prices are high. I got a quote from Costco and they were $$ less than DU. A Cat 4 for family of 5 is $9.5!!!

We are seriously considering some other options as well, but it is tough to find a place where we can all be in 1 room. Other things we have looked at: Club Med, Iberostar.

We just went to Hawaii over spring break, and if they have airfare deals for July we will do that again.

i believe some spots may "open up", since their 60 days out will/is then. that's when final payment is due, i guess. (and our final payment isn't till june), so you still have all that for the previous cruises, cuz ours is in august. and people might decide to cancel. so just check often, cuz you never know! good luck! :flower:

Look at www.vacationstogo.com for any deals. You'll have to do a specific search for the Disney Cruise Line. We used them once to book a Carnival cruise and it worked out well (or as well as it could for a non-Disney vacation!).
