Are they phasing out the monorail toy and buildings?

A sales person told me that they are phasing out the toy monorail and buildings does anyone know if this is true? Thanks.

The seem to have far less accessories than they did. The new monorail's top now opens and there are about 8 characters that can ride.

I havent been able to find many of the accessories for a while now. I was hoping somebody in Merchandising would create a monorail that runs on electricity, kinda like a train set. That way I could let it run for a long time without worrying about batterys. They have blown a good idea.
Once again Disney moves away from a great souvenier, mind you that it originally sold for $45.00 then quickly moved to 50 then 55 and up and flew off the shelves so quickly, to pirates and princesses crap that will soon be left alone.

We run ours all the time as well we decided not to do the Icons and other buildings as they were getting hard to fine. We started to use Snowglobes for our Displays.

Nothing but rechargable batteries for most of my stuff and this is no different.
