Are they phasing out personalisation of goods?

We have always bought each baby a large bauble with a character sitting onto of the bauble and their name hand painted on the front. When my sis went to wdw earlier this year she tried to replace one that as broken at Xmas and there were none to be seen! I also sent my friend on a hunt in August and also no luck!

Has anyone been there recently and saw any? Feels rubbish that our family tradition may be ending!

The only place I know that does this is the Christmas Shop at DTD and last time we were in there they still did it.

Fingers crossed then! We have always ordered ours in the Xmas shop in mk but my sister has bought from Dtd also! Xxx

We got several Christmas ornaments personalized at the Christmas shop in DTD in Aug.

We're here now and the Christmas shop is still personalising decorations. There are also stuffed toys, baby style (eg. Baby tink, baby simba, baby pooh) that come wrapped in a blanket and you can get those personalised by having a name stitched onto the blanket.

Yes they are still at the Christmas shop in DTD - saw them there earlier this week.

They are cutting back on personalisation a though. A few years ago we purchased my daughter a Christmas stocking at DTD and got it personalised with her name and date of birth. They no longer do embroidery at DTD so we had to purchase the stocking and take it to Hollywood studios to get it personalised. They also wouldn't do the name and Date of birth and said due to a "new policy" they were only allowed to do the name. It's not a massive deal but I would have preferred it to look the same as DDs but they seemed a but more restricted in what they were offering.
