I am talking about CROCS.I have never wore any but the last 2 times we have been both DH and dd have ended up with sore feet and have been looking at these shoesthat everyone seems to rave about.I have seen some on e-bay but don't know if they are the real mckoy.Where do you buy them from and although they look very fetching:scared1: are they as comfortable as people say.I understand you can buy little charms to go in the holes as well.I need help to be convinced to buy these and as I take a size 6 normally do I need to order a size smaller as I read they come up big.

Thanks guys.:thumbsup2

hiya

yes they really are I wear them all the time

plus my and my two young nieces all wore them at wdw last year no sore feet and no blisters

I was the same, wondering what all the maddness was about regarding Crocs, until last weekend!

I went out with my parents and they said they'd buy me a pair if I could find my size. And aren't I glad they said it!! I've had them on every night since, they are really comfortable!! I was suprised myself, as they look far from comfy, and although with the heat at the moment, they can sometimes get a little erm sweaty :lmao: they're still nice on my feet :)

I got the little Jibbitz (sp?) for them too, so I've got a Goofy, Buzz, Tigger & Dora in them too, and they're really easy to remove, so once I find my Tink one, someone's getting the boot :rotfl2:

I'd say go for it, comfort over style, even though, I have to say I'm actually getting used to the style of them too now, I'm thinking they're pretty cool

I love my Crocs!! And I bought some for my DH who was sceptical to say the least and he wears them all the time in the evenings now :goodvibes

I have just ordered another 2 pairs from Taylor Shoes which is where I got my first pair from. They cost me £22 including shipping :cool1:

I would suggest going to a shop and trying on a pair first to get the right size - remember though they are not meant to touch your feet except the sole :thumbsup2

Looking forward to wearing them in WDW is September now :cheer2:

Crabbie.
If you can wait. Try them on first, as they vary in size! We buy ours from Dillards when we get there!
My Beach crocs worked out at £17 last year, and with the lovely new celery colour, I've already got my list for a few weeks time.
I can honestly say, they are the comfiest shoes I've ever had. My mum brought a pair for my DD in January, and she has worn them to Uni, work ... everywhere!
We love them! In fact DH and DS are sorely tempted!
Hope this helps!

infact i just ordered a pair of the pirate crocs lol,

I was very sceptical for ages as nothing can detract from the fact that they are ugly!

I bought a pair about a year ago and at first they did rub and I was very dissapointed but once they had bedded in they were remarkably confortable.

I bought a second Disney pair about 6 months ago and again they took a bit of bedding in but are now as comfy as the first pair.

I convinced Gavin to get a pair and he bought some Off Road ones last week. The first pair were too small so he sent them back and got a size bigger. Just like me his wasnt initially sold but he's been wearing them as slippers around the house and slowly he's beginning to realise they are fantastic shoes!

Most people dont even have the problems we do with initial confort, most can buy a pair at the airport and wear them on holiday which we certainly couldnt do.

I am looking for my 3rd pair, I just cant decide what color!

:)

Hi Jodie,
You are not supposed to feel the crocs around your feet? Why not try on a size up?

The ones I have are perfectly confortable now, after they have been worn in. I think had I gotten a size bigger they would have ben to big. I'm a 4-5 so got a 5 and Gavin is 10-11 and got an 11. So for both of us a bigger size would have been 1.5 sizes bigger than we can wear normaly.

:)

Yes they are great . :dance3: My DH arrived last week & now DS wants some so have ordered his from taylorshoes.com. :woohoo:

If you're flying into MCO (Orlando International Airport) I've read that they sell Crocs there now! Perhaps you could call ahead a few days before your departure to see if they have your size in stock. I think they look horrifically ugly :lmao: but I do hear that they're very comfy! :thumbsup2

Well I have taken all your advice and bought 3 pairs tonight.DD had the PIrates of the carr ones and DH and me had a blac pair of the beach variey.Have ordered from taylors in the usa as cheaper than here. Will let you know the verdict when they arrive.A bit worried about what ely said saying they needed breaking in:confused3 .Most people said they are comfy from day 1.I measured our feet as instructed on the website so I hope they are ok.I don't fancy having to shipp them back to the usa. Will let you know when they arrive and if they really are great shoes.:thumbsup2

just send me some gold and i will make you some crocks from it

We ordered the same in mens us sizes as our uk sizes, I just ignored the womens us size.

We went over to west cumbria at the weekend and the weather was wonderful so we went to st bees and all went paddling in the sea in our crocs!! They were fantastic!! They dry quickly and sand just dusts off them. I haven't paddled for years!

Mine took about 3 days to bed in, I think its more getting used to them being 'loose' on your feet.

Hi

Me too I was not convinced at first. I went to Claires (fizz13) at the weekend and tried on Claires Athens and I loved them as soon as I put them on. Later on in the day I tried on Claires beach crocs. I fell in love with the way they felt. They are so comfortable and light. Claire gave me her Athens. I am trying to wear them in for the upcoming trip. Thank you Claire they are great I love them :goodvibes

Bluewater here I come to buy my Crocs. I am also pleased I saw the pearl colour, because I was umming and arrgh about which colour to get. I wanted a pair that would go with most and seeing the Pearl ones these look as though they would match most of my clothes. I am a little worried the black ones would get too hot.

If you are not sure Next usually sell Crocs, try them on you will be surprised like I was.

I have 2 pair, both disney. And like the other poster they rubbed and caused a blister at the top of my foot. I got a size bigger and next ones up were falling off,I do have very wide feet :sad2: I find now when I wear 'normal' shoes my feet ache, Crocs I can wear all day without a problem. So I guess I am a croc girl now:cool1:

Sorry for my ignorance, but I cant see how you can walk in them if they are not touching your feet (apart from the sole obviously). Surely in US heat your feet sweat and you end up slipping??

I'm guessing that its not worth buying anything apart from teh real crocs from what people say above?

I will be buying a pair now that I know they are meant to be loose and will try them though

Just been on the Taylors website - there are too many to choose from!!! :) Which ones did you opt for?? (The Beach and Cayman ones look the same to me!!) (And are the pearl ones just white ??):confused3

I'm getting the Croc's bug now!!! :thumbsup2 How many Jibbitz can you fit on each shoe??? Is that the same for the kids ones or does it differ with size???
