Good luck getting that AKV value studio during spring break - there are only a couple of them.
Studios have 1 bed and you have to make make/unmake the sofa bed (and/or chair) each night/day if you'll need more than 1 bed, that plus no housekeeping makes them a less attractive option than an equivalently priced room @ a discount for some people. Plus, you can cancel and get a refund from Disney as well as not pay the whole cost up front, whereas most DVC rentals require up front all the money and no cancelation. That said, the studio v. deluxe room comparisons almost always favor DVC rental. With the 1 br. or 2 br. DVC rental v. CRO prices @ a discount, that is not always true, you really have to do a spreadsheet sometimes to see what is best pricewise.
