Can anyone tell me if these attractions are still running?

Magic Kingdom:
Goofy's Country Dancin' Jamboree
Carousel of Progress
The Timekeeper

Animal Kingdom:
Pocahontas and Her Forest Friends

Thanks!

As of October 2003 COP was still running. Man did I need that break in the air conditioning too. It was HOT, I had a cranky toddler, and my feet were killing me.
The trip down memory lane, and the comparison between the different periods of technological progress were facinating to me. That song really gets into your head too! I hope they keep that ride vamped up, my 12 yr old cousin was facinated to see how my grandparents used to lived in comparison to how we live now. It really gives you perspective on how good we have it.

COP and Timekeeper are seasonal. When we were there in June COP was up and running but Timekeeper was not. I have seen threads of people who were there in peak season were able to see both. In not sure about the other 2 attractions, we have never seen them.

CoP was running this past May, but I've read more than once that it will be closing (to run seasonally once again) soon after Stitch's Great Escape opens sometime this Fall. I've never seen the Timekeeper and have a feeling I never will, since we like to go in November. Where is it, anyway?

I also recently read that Goofy's Jamboree is closing (closed already?) and will reopen, not sure when, featuring Jessie the cowgirl and other characters from Toy Story 2.

I'm pretty sure this closed permanently when they started putting Soarin' in.

Timekeeper and COP are both seasonal, and I think Pocahontas and her Forest friends is closed for a few weeks for refurbishment currently, but will reopen as far as I know.

As of last October, Food rocks was still in operation, although there were some minor changes that I noticed since the last time DH and I went on it in 2000, they were mostly in the que line.

I understand that both COP and Timekeeper are open until Stitch opens which will now probably be first-mid Nov. (Personally, I hope it's Mid-Nov 'cause I haven't been able to see COP on my last 2 visits and I need the fix!!pirate:

I leave in less than 10 days and both these two are at the top of my list. I've never been, and want to see both before they close. Next trip I can experience Stitch.

I don't know how many times I've been to Disney (more than 10, but I'm not sure), but this past June was my first time seeing COP. I've already forgotten the song, though. I guess it's time to go back. :earsboy:

Food Rocks is not running. I have never seen this and was looking forward to this on our trip in April.

To NCDisNut: "It's a great big, beautiful tomorrow, shining at the end of every day"......."we're just a dream away"!!! Song usually sticks in your mind like IASW except in a good way!:D
From: A Dis Nut also from NC.pirate: Went to Carowinds Monday and everything was a walk-on. Still pales in comparison to Disney!!::MickeyMo

Now, you've done it. I won't be able to get that song out of my head for the rest of the day. :)

Thanks. Seriously. There could be worse things in my head right now. ha ha ha

Try this, it usually works for me:

Yo Ho, Yo Ho a pirate's life for me....or, if all else fails:

Zipadeedoda, zipadeeya, my oh my what a wonderful day!::MickeyMo

But you're right, there are worse songs to have in your head!!!

According to Allearsnet:

Pocohantas & Friends: closed Sep 7-11th

CoP: will be open until Stitch's Great Escape is open

Food Rocks is closed permanently (the space it used to occupy will be the que area for Soarin'

Goofy's Jamboree: is open & already includes Jesse, Woody & Bullseye

The Timekeeper: is open seasonally

We always miss Timekeeper and I haven't seen it in YEARS. I really, really want to see it again with the kids (now that they are older and might remember it! Ha!). DH has never seen Timekeeper, when he was there last I believe the building was used for part of Delta Dreamflight (or something like that!) along with where Buzz is too.

Food Rocks is closed for Soarin' (not a loss IMHO) and I did see both versions...

As far as COP, we always hope that it is open and catch it when it is. 13 yr old DS loves this show... Me too, so true to Walt's spirit...

Pocahontas is closed just for a week or so for rehab sometime in Sept.

Would love to see River Country open too, but , alas, I'm sure that won't happen!

Only 16 more days 'til the magic...

Is Soarin' open? If not, when is it due to open? Thanks!
