Are there touring plans for the two parks?

Try going to the universal website and go to the search bar and type in vip tours.
They do offer 1 and 2 day tours for both parks..

contact them for the private tours.

oh, that's a different subject.

no, we all have our special way of touring depending on date you go.

There are touring plans in the Unofficial Guide to Disney books.

are you looking for a touring book for disney?

the TGM is supposed to be good. it is an on line book set up w/ chat

if you mean touring guide for universal, i can't recommend any.
i know some people do but they have not been adequate and complete depending on date you do the parks.

When are you going?
The big rides always get high waits first: Mummy, Simpsons, and Jimmy Neutron if you like that seemed to get higher waits.
For IOA, it seems Ripsaw Falls gets a high wait, as does Spiderman and Hulk.

To give you an idea, current wait times as of their mobile web:

(IOA)
Poseidons Fury, Spiderman, Ripsaw Falls = 75min
Jurassic Park River Adv = 55 min
Hulk = 35 min

(US)
Simpsons = 70 min
MIB, Mummy = 60 min
Jimmy Neutron, Disaster Studios = 40 min

My touring plan - stay onsite & use room key for fastpass entry :rotfl:

We are going in mid september, and are staying on site at royal pacific........? I think? My wife made the ressies... But I know its on site, so we do get the express pass! So that should help... Just want to try and get a basic plan of which direction to head in so as not to back track to much,
sounds like we should start at jimmy neutron and work that way.. I guess? Thanks for all the advice, it is appreciated! Anyone else have an opinion:)

Where is the website posting the current wait times for rides? thats neat! Is there one for disney too?

i have no idea about disney.
i'm sure there are sites such as all ears that can help you with disney questions or one of the many forums that is not in the darkside..

i have used the wait time table but have to find the link.

i never use it as i stay on site and have the ep.
when i didn't stay on site, i had a touring plan based on past experiences in the park.

On property in the middle of September, you shouldn't have any problems with lines. Look at Universalorlando.com, they have a list of all the shows and rides. When you get to the park, get a map which will include the time of shows. The shows with their set times are the only thing that need a little planning as you don't want to be on the other side of the park, or on a ride, when the show begins. Each show will have several performances throughout the day.

I haven't been to Universal yet so I haven't had a chance to test them out, but I really like this book that has touring plans:

http://www.amazon.com/Universal-Orl...bs_sr_1?ie=UTF8&s=books&qid=1216214997&sr=8-1

I don't think the 2008 version would have Simpsons (my book is 2007), but you can wait for an updated version or you can figure out yourself when to fit it in to your day.

Kelly, the author of that book, is a regular around here but I haven't seen him lately.
