Are there still Seasons or did they do away with them?

I called CRO to ask about booking POFQ for December 29 - January 5 thinking that the 29 - 31 of December would be higher than the days in January but they are all the same. Did they do away with the different seasons?

are you talking about booking for 2007 running into 2008? Until 2008 starts you are (in most cases - had one pop up for me using a code that didn't do this) still in the 2007 rules. Which are your price per night will stay the same for your entire stay as it was on your check in day. If you are booking room only and are willing to take the risk of being moved, you could book it as two separate vacations. This way you technically check out on the first and back in to get the lower rates for those days. The new rules for 2008 are night based pricing on top of seasonal pricing where in some cases weekends will be higher than weekdays, special days that normally fall within value season will be jacked up, etc.

YMMV. When AP and FL Resident rates came out, people were getting higher prices because they switched to date base instead of seasonal pricing even in 2007.

Thanks beth_cam. I'm checking in on Dec. 30 and out on January 5. I guess I thought that I would have a higher rate for the 30th and 31st and then it would be lower for the rest of the stay. I don't want to hassle with two reservations, so I guess I'll just pay a little more! Thanks for your help!:goodvibes
