Are there still ME "yellow" tag problems??

We are leaving Fri Aug 25th early early am for WDW landing at 9:45am!!!(me,DH(44) DS(12)DD(8)-- all WDW veterans and DM(67)- veteran and DN(8)- newbie to flying and WDW
Have gone to WDW many times but usually rent a car.
This time we're using DME. I have the DME reservation confirmation from my TA. That was done mid June.
Also Received my free dining packet and vouchers weeks ago.
Still no magical "yellow tags" from DME.
I tried calling DME but since the TA did the ressie- they wouldn't talk to me. TA says to follow the directions on the email confirmation.
DN(8) and DM(67) who are "nervous" about the no tags and want to go to baggage claim and wait for the luggage.(boo- longer till we get to parks))
DH on the other hand just wants to give the welcome center our bag checks and let DME worry about all that luggage as is instructed by the notice. He loves the idea of not lugging those suitcases!!
It seems like recently noone has mentioned NOT getting their tags. Is DME still having problems? Has anyone gone "tagless" recently and how'd it go?? should I put something unique on my black suitcases so DME can find them??

Never fear. You have two options. You can claim your bags like normal, and take them with you or you can have Disney claim them for you as if you did have those yellow tags. Bypass baggage claim, and go straight to the Welcome Center. From there, give the Cast Member your luggage claim tickets. They will create replacement tags for you, find your bags, tag them, and send them to your resort.
