I know it seems like a really odd questions, but as you can see from my signature, I have lost 35 lbs. so far and plan to lose another 5-10 before we cruise.

I plan to stay on program during cruise, but what with cruise and days at WDW, I won't be able to weigh in over 10 days, and that is way too long for me.

Are there scales to use on-board?

Hi Bev - I asked a while back and was told that yes there is a scale in the health club. Guess its an old one, kinda like a home scale. Seems it will be sufficient though.
Think it may be a good idea to get on there the 1st day or so to get a base # then work from there? Sometimes scales have different #s to begin with.

I always bring my own scale along. I have a very thin, light weight bathroom scale that I take everywhere with me. I have watched everything I've eaten since I was 14 to lose and maintain my weight. I can easily gain 3-5 pounds over night if I give in and eat one normal meal much less all that is offered on a cruise. I was determined to be free to eat as other people do for one week and I tried everything. I tasted, didn't eat everything in front of me and didn't feel as if I was doing without. I was able to monitor my weight as the week went on and had peace of mind knowing that although I was gaining I wasn't gaining uncontrollably.

If you do find a scale try to get weighed on days at port. I found it very interesting trying to get the scale to register as the ship was in motion.
