are there more Nov/Dec discounts coming?

OK I know no one has a crystal ball. How I wish I did. But I was hoping all you DIS out there that have alot of code and discount expertise can help me. I'm wondering if you think the current codes for Nov/ DEc are as good as they get or do you think there may be better ones on the way? Thanks.

I'm going to say, probably not. As a rule, the AP and Florida passes get the best discount and they're out now. The Disney Visa card discount is hit or miss. I'm afraid the discounts out are probably the best you'll see for this season. If one is still available, you should book if you can. AAA may still be out there as well. A little pixie dust for you.

I was hoping for a room only discount for our Dec. 16th trip. We have AAA booked standard view for WL. When the package came out I checked the prices and they had no standard rooms available for WL with the package and it raised the price about $400 to go with the package discount because we had to go up 2 categories in the room. Not such a package deal anymore. Oh well, guess I will hold out hope and go with AAA if nothing comes out.

Well - we all know what CRO/CM rumors are worth so take this with the appropriate amount of salt...one of the CRO folks told me this week to look for some pretty good discounts for late Nov/December - said the codes should be out by late Oct/early Nov.

IMHO, they are as good as they get now. I think the GP package is a great deal. I crunched the numbers and this deal is better than the AP room only code. I don't need it as I have a DVC resort booked, but needed a one night stay and choose the AP discount, but had I needed at least a 3 day stay, I would have choosen the GP package and used the tickets for a later date. Since Dec. 4-8 is blacked out from discounts, that shows us that the resorts are full that week, plus they are probably at capacity the first two weekends of December as they usually are, so that doesn't leave much else in December once you get into the holiday weeks. I would not expect much else, and if there is something, that would be a nice surprise. I think we've seen the last of any discounts for this year and look forward to some new ones for 2007 now. But that is just MHO.

email codes came out a day or two ago for Oct-Dec. 23. They're better than what is out now, but if you haven't received it, you probably won't. What's published generally is about the best you're going to get--AP, general public package codes, Disney Visa, FL resident.

I got an email code and it was not as good as my AP code. They offered me $84 a night at Pop for Oct. 14th, and the AP rate was $79 a night at Pop, so I took the AP rate. This is regular season, so the AP rate was $20 off and the email rate was $15 off.

Hi everyone, I have a question I heard about a discount or code that gets u the WL standard room for 140.00plus tax a night. Does anyone know if this is an AP Rate or does anyone know the code to be able to get this rate? Tried looking on line but nothing came up.

how about $355 per adult in a value resort for 5 nights/6 days with a 6 day park hopper. For DH and I at the Pop it is a total of $776 for 2 - 6 day hopper passes and the room. with dining it is 1159. It's like getting one pass free or the room almost for free. OOPs - that's 779.76 total including tax, etc. If I did my math right I think I may be paying like 49/night. Can;t wait - going for the third time this year.
