Are there free apps for kids for Nook?

I have a Nook that I never use bc I just use my iphone for everything. I was thinking of letting my 5 year old son have it but would love to put some apps on it for him without spending much, if any, money. are there any good free or pretty cheap apps to put on it for him? thanks!

My kids all have a Nook. We get apps through google play on the Nook- and there are a TON of free apps. I downloaded a bunch last week and my kids are very happy. There is a free Despicable Me app that is their current favorite.
