Are There DW Camping Vacation Packages?

What am I missing? I could not find any packages that combine FW camping with park visit tickets.

Because of the cheap Price of FW campgroups Disney does not do any special deals for FW. You should however be able to get a regular 'Package' with tickets and even the Dining Plan if you want. I had no problem doing for my upcoming trip in May. Finding Fort Wilderness in the listing of Resorts is not easy but it is there! On the Walt Disney World page for making a reservation the Campsites are just below the Values resorts in the drop down list, you have to scroll down to find them!

Do these "ticket-only packages" get you in the park early, or let you stay in the park later than the tickets someone would buy who is not staying on Disney?

Using the Extra Magic Hours is a bennie of staying on site at WDW. Any guest of a WDW resort (including Fort Wilderness) is able to take advantage of the EMHs that are offered.

Plus you get all the other benefits like free parking at the parks, "room" charging on your "room" key, resort package delivery and Magical Express if you are flying in and camping.

Yes people fly and camp. There is a thread here with pics. Not only did they have a tent and screen room but they also brought their fold up bikes.
