Are there dedicated studios?

I thought I read that there were dedicated studios in all of the resorts except OKW. When I called Member Services she said they were only at BWV and these included a daybed.

Are there dedicated studios at the other resorts? Has anyone ever stayed in one and if so, what is the difference between a regular and dedicated? Thanks for any information. :D

None at OKW. All are part of the 2 bedroom lock off units there. The difference at OKW is that the second bedroom of a lock off unit has a kitchenette and a seperate door to the exterior, while a dedicated 2 bedroom has an extra closet and vanity space.

yes both VWL and BCV have dedicated studios - I have stayed in them.

VWL dedicated are not generally in great places - but they do have 2 closets!!!!:bounce: the view of the service building that is so bad - the studio is a dedicated.

I also stayed in a dedicated at BCV - it did not have the connecting door at the front - I don't remember anything else different about than the lock-out studio.

there is one dedicated studio at OKW in building 26 - I stayed there on my first visit in 93 - but I haven't got a dedicated studio at OKW since then.

on in those days I didn't write down the room number so sorry I can't tell you what it was - believe me I have tried to remember.

OKW has no dedicated Studios (or 1BRs) listed in it's Public Offering Statement. It would be interesting to know the room number.

There are a total of four Studios in building 26 and they are on the ends of each of the first 2 floors. #2610, #2616, #2620 and #2626 are the Studio room numbers for that building.I've stayed in building 26 in 1BR villas (#2625 and #2621) and both times the villa had a connecting door to the adjacent studio.

A dedicated Studio, regardless of resort, will not have a connecting door to the adjacent 1BR. At BWV, the dedicated Studio Plus has a small day-bed in the spot usually reserved for the connecting doorway.

Doc as I say that was in 93 for my first stay - I didn't realize then how special this studio was - believe me I do know - it was also bigger - I will try on this next trip to go by that building and if possible go in the one I think it was - of course I don't know how luck I will be - I think all the DVC resorts are sold out for my time period.

I haven't been back to any of the twenty building number since my first trip - they must be popular?

I stayed in Room 2626 - it was a lockoff studio - nice room but not the room cited here as the special studio

Thanks
