Are there daily activities?

We go to Disney about every 2 years and have a rhythm to how 'we do Disney' however that has all been resort stays. We will be heading down for our first cmping Disney trip in October and starting to think about parks/restaurants/relax days. We now realized we don't know how to do this version of Disney as we are combing two loves in one. What activities are there for young kids (3 and 5) during day, which would be similar to other campgrounds? We know and are planning campfire/movie, beach fireworks and have done pony rides in the past, so besides pool/playground is there anything else during morning early afternoon hours? Crafts, games, etc?

There are daily activities at the pool. You'll be given an activity planner at check in and sometimes we get them posted here on the Dis. They are usually released at the beginning of the month and vary depending on the time of year.

There are pony rides as well as the stables where Disney keeps all the horses used on property. There is also a short carrage ride in the evening which you can reserve for a fee.

There is fishing as well(catch and release) at designated areas. Several playgrounds are positioned around the Fort as well as basketball, tetherball, and volleyball.

We've been in October and the site decorations for Halloween (get better the closer you are to Halloween) are always fun for the family to see.

Most of these take place around the pool area in the afternoons.

You can also rent bikes or canoes. Bring chalk and let them draw on your site. Take the boat over to the other resorts to look around or do a loop on the resort monorail. Depending what dates in October, most sites will be decorated for Halloween. Some are really over the top. Rent a golf cart and go "looping" to look at all the decorations.
