Thought I read somewhere that someone was put in a bad spot. Are there certain tables to look out for? try to get changed once onboard? does a bad table spot in 1 restaurant mean a bad table spot in all 3 restaurants?

We were at table # 1 on our cruise last October. It is a table for 4 people, but there was only 3 in our party. So it was just me, DH, and DD at the table-which was fine. But, it is right inside the door, so everyone coming and going have to walk past the table. In Parrot Cay I didn't even feel like we were in the resteraunt. It felt like we were in the hallway. And it was hard to see all the great details at Animator's Pallet. I hope we don't get the same table this November.

We had table 1 on our cruise last summer, and the rest of my family had table 3. My mom asked if they could make a table for 12 and they did.

My biggest gripe was Animators.
We were very near the door to the restaurant, and there's a speaker just above the tables that was so loud you could hardly hear the others at your table. We asked if they could turn it down or off and the servers said no. In Parrot Cay we were right against the windows and my two nephews were playing with the plastic palm decoration that were fastened to the portholes. Other than this, I though it was great to sit near the door; easy to get out & back again for potty visits with children!

We had table 55, it's a table for 6, located towards the back of the restaurant, just off the main aisle. Nice location actually!

I personally don't care where I am in the dining room. A "good" location, doesn't necessarily mean you will get terific servers too.
We have cruised with DCL 3 times and have #'s 4 & 5 next month.

already know what table you have?

We had this one on our first cruise - can't remember which one on our second - and it was fine.
