Are there busses from the boardwalk to AKL?

How can I get from the boardwalk to AKL? If it's too onerous by bus, I will have a rental car. However, I'm not sure where there is parking at the boardwalk so I need some help with that too. It will be fairly late (about 10pm when we will need this)

By car you can park for free for three hours. (Possibly unlimited if they are not crowded and the gate guard is not issuing parking time limit passes.)

By bus you will have to go to Downtown Disney first and transfer to an Animal Kingdom Lodge bus.

I was going to say go to MGM or AK and transfer there but these are closed at the time you are going. I was going to say go to Epcot and change there but it is probably either closed, or closing and the buses are crowded.
