Hi

We want to go to MK and be brave to celebrate thanksgiving out there. We want to try and book a table at LTT, which is a nightmare at the moment trying to get a table. Does Disney do any extra little celebrations?

I hope they do, would be lovely to see. If MK is too much is Epcot too busy?

You should be ok today as it was the 180 day mark. I was fine for NYE and Le Cellier at the 180 day mark and that is even busier!

There shouldn't be ANY problem getting a table at the 180 day mark. Most guests do not book this far out.

Disney is busy at that time celebrating Christmas - the Osborne Lights, Candlelight, Very Merry, etc. I am not sure much is done for Thanksgiving itself though. Different menus at some restaurants. :)

Here are the special dining options for last year's Thanksgiving.

What park should be avoided on this day?

All of them. :)

Actually, if I head over to a park on a day like Thanksiving, I would go to Epcot - since it's HUGE. However, the parks should be busy all week. Don't stay at an early entry park all day, that is the one that should be the most full.

Last year I went to Epcot on December 30th - Christmas/New Years week - and it was fine. The Wonders of Life was open, so I went there - then did the Mexican boat ride, and went to the Osborne Lights after enjoying the Candlelight Processional at Epcot from outside of the ropes (i.e. - no seat). :)

With the Osborne Lights, don't go the moment the crowd is let in. I got there about that time (earlier than I planned), went to the book shop and had some hot chocolate. A half hour or 40 minutes later, there wasn't nearly as large a crowd. :)

Hi

Well no luck booking LTT :sad2: I have booked Crystal Palce, but think we might change this to a water park and then perhaps head over to Whispering Canyon.

What are the water parks like???

LTT really shouldn't be booked up this far in advance. Wait a week or two and try again (I just don't want to see you racking up long-distance charges checking every day).
