I just wanted to open a thread about SIDS: Sudden Infant Death Syndrome.
It has been 11 years since our precious baby boy, Kyle Patrick went to heaven.
I would love to help/ discuss anything with others.
The local SIDS Chapter in your area also is a great resource and support.

No, but since I'm here... I wanted to express my sympathy to you and for other parents who have suddenly lost their baby.

We lost a niece to SIDS. She was one of twins born a little premature but both seemed healthy and strong. Her twin brother turns 10 this year and has 2 younger siblings.

When I was a paramedic I saw a few SIDS deaths.. I don't think I have ever seen anyone as hurt as those parents. I can't imagine having your world turned upside down like that, it just happens in an instant. I think it's great you are doing what you can to help others!

No, but many times I was priviledged to tend to the babies last needs. Trust me most of the healthcare professions remember your precious babies too, it is something that touches you each time.
