Are there any new characters...

Are there any new characters roaming the parks? We haven't visited since 11/01. If there are newbies (ie Mike, Sully, Stitch) regularly out and about I'd like to add their pictures to my son's autograph book. Any help would be appreciated.

Mike and Sully from Monsters Inc. appear fairly regularly on Commisary Lane between the ABC Commisary and Sci-Fi Dine In Restaurant at MGM. Just look for the garage door with the Monsters Inc. Logo on it. The don't sign autographs though. Their Monster hands make it difficult for them to hold pens.

Lilo and Stitch are at MGM too next to the Magic of Disney Animation. The entrance to their area is right next to where the queue to the Animation Tour begins but on the left. They're also at Animal Kingdom near the bridge to Camp Minnie-Mickey on Discovery Island.

A couple of other characters that started appearing regularly since then include Kermit and Miss Piggy who appear at MGM near the MuppetVision Theater at MGM (no autographs though, they use stamps like Buzz and Woody), Flik and Atta from A Bug's Life who appear near the Tree of Life at AK, Stanley from Playhouse Disney who appears at Rafiki's Planet Watch at AK, and Nemo from finding Nemo, who is really a parade float that can be seen scooting along near the Ferry Boat dock at the TTC (No autographs from him either).

Wow, I never saw Flik and Princess Atta--I have to make sure we find them next year. That is one of my childrens' favorite movies.

Does Bear in the Big Blue House hang out anywhere after the Playhouse Disney show? My 3 yo is obsessed with him.

We just got back from the parks about 2 weeks ago. Sad to say, Bear does not hang out for autographs. But we got more autographs in MK than ever before. We got Buzz Lightyear, Peter Pan, Jasmine, Rafiki and almost had the Genie but he had to go cool off.

Amazingly enough, the lines were really short too. The only "long" one we had was for Jasmine, and it was less than 5 minutes.

We saw some characters from Treasure Planet in Tomorrowland(don't know the names) and also from Atlantis at MGM (sorry, again don't know the names) We noticed a lot more characters during out last trip in Feb/March - many we had never seen before. Watch for the Characters on Holiday bus at World Showcase. Also, many characters are available at MGM right in front of the Great Movie Ride area. We found Lilo and Stitch and Princess Atta at Animal Kingdom. Also saw Bullseye from Toy Story in Frontierland. Good luck in your search.
