We are staying at the BC 8/26-9/2 with 7 & 3 year old, potty trained. The BC said they would only take a child 4 and older. Is there any other place in WDW-Poly?, etc., that will take a 3 year old potty trained child. My dd wants to go to the club in BC so I thought I would send my son if he wanted to and have a nice dinner with dh and my mom and her dh.
I don't feel comfortable leaving them in the room with a babysitter. JMO, but I would feel bad doing that. But know they would have fun in one of the clubs. If not, I guess we will just wait one more year.

Is your objection to the in room babysitter that you don't feel it is safe - or that you feel bad because it won't be fun? If it's the second case I can tell you that by about 4 days into your vacation the chances are pretty good that you will have an exhausted 3 year old on your hands. Even if you're really careful about getting him the afternoon naps - it's still 4 days of intense stimulation.

When my oldest son was 3 years old we ended up calling on a last minute basis and scheduling a Fairy Godmother --- just to give him a quiet night in the room. She arrived with a sack full of toys for him to play with, but he fell asleep at about 7:00pm and slept through the night. I think that the extra night of rest really allowed him to enjoy the rest of the vacation much better.

Tobys Friend, it is a little of both. I pictured both my 7 and 3 year old in the room with my 7 year old wanting something to do. I didn't think about getting a Fairy Godmother for my ds and having my dd go to the SandCastle until your post. I have heard nothing but good reports about the Fairy Godmothers maybe we will think about that. Thank you very much for some insight.

I have 2 ds's 2and 5y. Even with 2hour naps plus, they crashed at night. We used a sitter from Kindercare for an e-night and one for Calfornia Grill. The e-night was the best for me and dh because we could enjoy the more adult rides. Both kids were in bed early these nights, asleep when we got back. We had a 1-800 pager and a cell phone so could be in touch at any time. I know my 5yo was comfortable with the idea of a sitter, and really helped the 2yo feel comfortable also. I like the idea that my 5yo could talk and use the phone if needed. I was glad that I left both together.

I was wondering about this also. I have a 3 year old and she is potty trained...my question is, how will they know how old the child is? You could lie, I guess, lol. :)
