Are there any good LEGOland restaurants?

No. The food there is not good...when we've left we've gone to the Golden Corral across the street, which a lot of people would also shun, but we don't have all you can eat buffets like that where we live, so the kids have fun.

Our kids like the pizza/pasta buffet. In fact, they look forward to it as much as anything at the park.

The food overall at the park is just okay, from paninis to pizza to chicken to burgers to turkey legs. It’s not fine dining, but it’s Probably on par or better with Golden Corral, maybe cheaper.

Also, the park closes so early, you may just want to eat lunch there and head somewhere for dinner.

Yup, we packed lunch (even though you're not supposed to) and then went across the street for dinner. Can't bring myself to buy them food at the park...

Actually, you can bring in your own food. We do it all the time, the rules are cited on the website:

Universal is the most strict about "food," but they do allow snacks. We take lunches into SeaWorld, WDW, Lego, when we feel like it. Lately, we choose to pack light. It made sense when we had a stroller and storage space.

This wasn't the case when we went, because it's the first thing I check at a park, but that was at least three years ago. I'm glad they're allowing food! Looks like Legoland California still doesn't, I wonder why.
