Are there any GF suite experts out there?

I am going crazy over this and I know it is silly. We are doing a dream L/S vacation in June 2004 and we are booked for a 1 br suite (BN) . This suite is located in the outer lodge.

I have always dreamed of staying in the GF main building. My dilemma is this: Being a family of 5 we cannot be accomodated in the one br suites in the main building so we are in the outer lodge suite. I called yesterday and I could get a 2 br suite in the main bldg. but the price is approx $3,000 more!

It seems like people prefer the main concierge to the outer lodge concierge and I don't really know anything about the views. I know it seems crazy to even consider this at this high price, I just want it to be perfect. We are at the GF for 3 nights so that the price increase is $1,000 night.

Am I crazy:crazy:

Thanks for any advice or reccomendations on the GF!;)

The suites at the GF have access to both the lodge concierge and main building concierge lounges, reguardless of their location.

The lodge buildings have a 1BR suite that would accommodate you, with two queens and a queen sleeper. There are three types of 2BR suites in the lodges, two types sleep 8 and one sleeps nine. I've been in one of the two BR suites before, a "BC Suite" on the first floor of Sago Cay (the Cape Coral Suite), and it was nice and large with a great view.

In the main building, the only suite that would accommodate you is one of the two-bedroom "B2" suites. They are dormer suites on the 5th floor, with one king and 2 queen beds. They have either a courtyard pool or theme pool/lagoon view.
