Are there any fresh, not frozen burgers in Disney World? I have been to WDW 10 times but have never gotten a good cheeseburger.

Has anyone gotten a good burger?

Requirement:

Hand pattied, fresh meat- Not frozen pre-shaped Mickey Burgers.

I have had burgers at AKL, Pop, POFQ, Cosmic Ray's, and the Plaza but none of them would I call good. They all had that taste of factory made frozen burgers.

I am going to try the Dolphin's Cabana Bar in July, I hear they have a good burger. Can anyone else recommend somewhere?

I have always ejoyed the ones at Beaches and Cream, I used to like the one at the concourse steakhouse before that closed

I can't imagine that the B&C burger is fresh and not frozen. We ate there for the first time this last week and frankly the burger was mediocre at best. I was surprised. They do have excellent onion rings!!

In the past, Beaches & Cream did have good burgers. However, since the inception of the DDP all food is centrally ordered so you basically end up with the same burger everywhere, be it CS or TS.

It's too bad, really.:sad1:

Here are the best I found recently. These, along with the Dolphin Cabana burger, have been the best, IMHO.

The Fountain (at the Dolphin), I think it is similar to the Cabana burger I had last year.

And the Fada Burger at Raglan Road (DTD). Excellent as well.

Hope this helps.

(And to the previous poster (debit34) I agree, I haven't been terribly impressed by the burgers at Beaches & Cream either).

Best burger's I've had have been at Sci Fi Cafe in the Studios. I agree that most Disney burgers are too try and tasteless but for some reason, these always seem better.

Wait---They really have Mickey Shaped Burgers?!

Bestburger I had at WDW during this April's trip was at Big River Brewing Works at the Boardwalk. It was the hickory Bar B Q one. Delicious!:thumbsup2

This trip we really enjoyed our burgers at the Turf Club, Raglan Road, and Kona Cafe. Beaches and Cream, unfortunately, has been crossed off my burger list. I'll definitely still go there! The hot dogs are great, and duh the ice cream - but the burgers just aren't that good anymore.

The first three places I mentioned tasted like they used fresh, high-quality beef, in comparison to Beaches and Cream, which tasted more like a counter service burger (aka, pre-frozen patty).

Oh... LTT was good, too. :)

Its been several years (so for what its worth) but my husband rates the burger at Le Cellier for lunch pretty high.

ESPN had a good burger in March, 2007 but in December, 2007 it looked and tasted like a counter service burger.

I eat my burgers plain (meat and bun only--may add cheese occasionally, but it's pretty rare), so I'm very picky about them! *LOL*

I'm gluten intolerant, so I don't even eat the bun! Giving me a pretty good idea of when the hamburger meat is to my taste as opposed to "the Kaiser roll is buttered"

(I'll still occasionally order a burger - without the bun - I don't eat a lot of gluten free breads, I find them to be disappointing.)

We have had many a great Elwood Burger there.:goodvibes :goodvibes Danny

I have to agree. We ate there a few weeks ago and the burger was not fresh but previously frozen. You could easily tell and after the build up on this site about how good the burgers were, we were let down. The onion rings are good though.

On the other hand, we had lunch at the Kona (Poly) and the burger there was excellent. The meat tasted fresh and the hamburger was one of the best that I have had. Night and day different from B&C.
