It will be our very 1st trip to WDW  So i am clueless about everything and slowing learning thanks to everyones help on the DIS :thumbsup2

I was wondering what Shows in WDW must you pay extra for?
Which ones are the best, how much and is it worth it?

When we went to Disneyland Paris last year we paid extra to see
'Bufolo Bills Wild West Dinner Show''

It was an amazing show, but the food was poor, but worth buying tickets to see.

Does WDW have anything like this??

In Downtown Disney there is the Cirque du Soleil show, La Nouba. There are a few dinner shows in the resorts; Mickey's Backyard Barbeque at Fort Wilderness, Spirit of Aloha at the Polynesian and the Hoop de doo Revue at Fort Wilderness. These all cost extra. :)

Also the parties at MK such as Mickey's Not So Scary Halloween Party (MNSSHP) and Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party (MVMCP) are seperate ticketed events not included in the regular ticket price at the relevant times of the year. The run on select nights and have special features such as parades, fireworks, Trick or Treating (MNSSHP) and hot chocolate & cookies (MVMCP).

Oh sounds fun

We are travelling at the beginning of May so im not sure what extra shows will be available during this time. :confused3
The shows at the resorts sound fun too but have no idea where those resorts are, ive never heard of them, but i am learning more slowly ;)
The show at Downtown Disney sounds good too, i will have a sneak peak on YOUTUBE :thumbsup2

Beginning of May has no MK events at the moment. Although Epcot has the Flower and Garden Festival which is free and has some lovely topiaries.

WDW is so much bigger than Disneyland Paris that for your first trip (and hopefully one of many :thumbsup2) I wouldnt pay extra for other shows as there is so much to do :goodvibes

My opinion would be a 1st trip to WDW is enough without any extra shows, after spending about 50 weeks over there we still struggle to fit evening shows in. There is enough in the parks for a 1st visit. If you do have spare time and have a car then there is Old town, shopping, Celebration, Downtown Disney
If you do want shows theres lots offsite as well as onsite, our fave is Blue Man group at Universal.
