Are there any busy weeks after Thanksgiving?

We'd like to go to WDW after Thanksgiving. Of the 3 weeks after Thanksgiving, which is better?

Week 1: Nov. 27-Dec. 3

Week 2: Dec. 4-Dec. 10

Week 3: Dec. 11-Dec. 17

Does anyone know if either of these weeks is busier? I'm guessing they're all normally a little less crowded. All 3 weeks are value season.

I think crowds will be low the first two choices and may pick up the last week. We went Dec. 5-11 this year- the same as your second choice. The crowds were pretty low compared to what we're used to- we used to go Thanksgiving week. We walked onto a lot of things and most things were only a 5-10 minute wait at the most. The only thing you might consider is the 4-10 is Pop Warner week next year. Now, I don't want to start the good ole' Pop Warner week debate- we went during this week this year and had no problems with it- you just might want to consider it if you have a choice of weeks. You also might want to consider where you are staying if you choose this week- I would avoid values. My thoughts are you will be fine either the first or second week- crowds should be low. I read where the crowds were bigger in early Dec. this year than in years past- but we loved it! It could have been due to hurricane rescheduling. Good luck!!!

We're planning on staying at All Stars or Pop Century.

We were also at WDW from 4-Dec to 13-Dec. The parks were not too crowded during the week, but picked up on the weekend. Pop Warner football and cheerleading finals were that week and we were "aware" of their presence in the parks. For the most part, the football players were well behaved and well chaperoned. The cheerleaders were another matter. If you would like more info on this, there is a 10 page or so thread somewhere in here, just search for "pop warner".

I also read a thread on the Pop Warner boards that indicated that WDW didn't set aside enough rooms for all of the attendees and that a lot were placed at off-site hotels. The thread also indicated that WDW had given them more rooms next year, so take that under advisement.

Another Pop Warner thread indicated that there were several fights at the on-site and off-site resorts between football teams.

Having said that and noting your resort preference, I would advise not going during Pop Warner finals.

Low crowds and good weather.
