Are there any all inclusive resorts in US?

There's one or two in the Wisconsin Dells. These are family waterpark type places. Wasn't sure if you were looking for a family or a couple.

My sister's family has gone to a place a couple of times in Vermont, The Tyler Place. It's a family resort with everything included, with tons of activities, and she raves about the food! Now, alcohol not included, but the meals and activities are (the kids are in age groups, and it's like summer camp, sounds fun).

I think they typical all-inclusive place with drinks included is not found much in the US. I have heard about the Club Med a bit in Florida, and heard that some Europeans like it.

I have heard Tyler Place is fantastic... but not cheap.

No, not cheap, but not as much as many premium all-inclusives.

To the OP: are you just looking for an inexpensive vacation? If so, all-inclusive may not be the best option. There are many places where everything is very reasonable all over the US. Many resorts offer kids activities, but I think all-inclusive ones have the most (but you will end up paying more for that).

Is the best! My kids love it as much as WDW. Its all inclusive, 3 meals a day and ALL activities. (Alcohol extra). They have everything there - including a top notch SPA (also additional) Every activitiy you could imagine - for every season. Not cheap, but worth every penny

Thanks for the ideas - we're looking as a family. The Bahamas requires a passport and we'd like to stay in the US.

passports aren't cheap, but they're a good thing to have. I flew years ago to Canada on my birth certficate/DL, and now I wish I had taken the time to get a passport, as money does not flow freely as it did at 19. And for something that lasts like 10 years, that means it's only costing you 10 bucks a year. When you see it like that' it's a very small investment.

Not for a family of six - it's almost $600!! We traveled out of the US several times before passports were required, and we just think there are so many beautiful places to see that we have not explored yet in our country.

true. There's still a ton of places that I would like to see. I used to go on road trips with my grandparents every summer. I've seen almost every state in the eastern time zone, besides the new england states.
I drove my aunt and grandmother from texas to indiana to florida... 2000 miles of driving and I enjoyed every minute of it. My aunt wasn't so happy, but my favorite part was driving though the smokey mountain national park.

We don't have our passports and would like to stay in the country?

We applied for a Pass card, it allows cruise travel and car into Canada. I think it was $35 and then the post office charged about $20.
I took the pictures ourself the passport site or a google links to a page you can format. Keep the back ground light, white sheet or wall. I saved the file and printed at Walmart on a 4 X 6 size for about 20 cents. They give you about 5 prints.

It took us three weeks to get one back. Children for CA need only a birth certificate, I am not sure about American Islands, or other cruises. This will not work for air travel though into other countries.
