Are there any AAA discounts/benefits if you do not book through them??

Seems like all of the AAA benefits are tied to a package you book through them. If I did not book with AAA, can you use benefits, such as the AAA Lounge in the Magic Kingdom, and free parking?

Also, is there any AAA discount for purchases at Disney shops in Disneyworld?

How about a discount on stroller rentals? (By the way, anyone know the current rental price for a double stroller?)

You can book a room only through Disney with a AAA rate. They don't always have them for all resorts and all dates but I've always been lucky. I believe in value seson its 20% off mods and values and 15% off deluxe. In regular season 15% off values and mods and 10% off deluxes. It's better than nothing and it helps while I'm waiting for an AP rate (hopefully)!

I went two weeks ago to find out what AAA offered if you book a package with them. Their quote was actually $50 more than if I book the room separate and buy tickets through ticketmania.com. The only thing they were going to give me was a free soda at MK, diamond lot parking, diamond card which would give me 10% off at some places (not in the parks), and $25 credit if you book before the end of January. Keep in mind if you stay onsite parking is free no matter what. I did the numbers and it was not worth booking with AAA. Also someone the boards also told me that if you book through AAA and a code comes out you have to call them and not disney to get the better rate. I ended up booking the room with disney (with an AAA discount) and will be buying the tickets through ticketmania.

Some AAA offices still have the old park hopper tickets for sale. You do NOT have to buy a package to get them. I don't know what their policy is regarding the new MYW tickets.
