We are considering HH or VB (probably HH) for spring break. Are there organized activities for Middle School kids at these resorts?

Anyone go to one of these for spring break with a Middle School kid? Did they enjoy it?

Thanks,
DJ

We went with a big family group, including my 12 yr old sister, this past April. They have some art activities (fish painting, jewelry making) that she enjoyed. Kayak touring and biking around the resort are also offered -- though my sis said she got bored with the kayaking. (it's a quiet shoreline tour, not an exciting ww trip) The biggest draw was the pool. I think there was a game room in the main lodge, too. Some of the planned activities are family oriented, like the campfire. I don't recall any activities that were specifically targetted to middle schoolers.

Thanks! I do think the pool will be the biggest draw for my girls too. Those other things sound like fun also, and they may like them as well.

I think it sound likes fun for me anyways!

At Vero, my pre-teen and teen nephews occupied most of their time with...

pool/slide
ocean/boogie boards
tennis
ping pong
basketball
mini golf
renting movies
exploring

My nephews haven't done HH with us but HH had kayak tours, crabbing, pool/slide, bikes, arts and crafts all at the resort. Outside there was the ocean of course, tennis, mini golf, etc.

I know my nephews loved Vero and after we told them about HH, they would like to visit there one day too.
