I've heard a lot about the world of color dinner packages. I am just confused on the whole process works. You get dinner and a special seat that night? What about the picnics? Can you only book these a month out? Do any you have experience with these? We are going over spring break season, which made me wonder if it would be worth the money? HELP!!!!

A friend and I did the dinner in Sept...at Wine Country..food and service were great! I got a glass of wine after and we got in the masses lining up to be let in, then got front rail in the dining section. It was perfect and the show was wonderful (still not as good at Fantasmic though IMO :) )

We did the WOC dinner package at Wine Country a couple weeks ago. I didn't think the food was all that great for what we paid, but being able to be in the reserved dining section for WOC was worth it just because we didn't have to worry about getting fast passes for WOC that morning and didn't have to line up early to get a good spot.

I would definitely do the picnic again. popcorn::

We did 3 adult picnics and one child picnic. The food was pretty good actually. Better then most of the food you can get on vacation...tasty and there is a great area right where you pick up the picnics you can sit in.:thumbsup2

The price is affordable and the area you get in to for the show was great.

**REMEMBER the one tip though...always get @ a railing/fence/rope and STAY THERE!! We got pushed around quite a bit...some ppl are horrendous when it comes to pushing you out of an area they want...we have a toddler and we weren't going to be absolute nincompoops when it came to showing our child how NOT to act...it was BRUTAL!! We got a spot @ a railing...then this "lady" told my DD (2 years old) to MOVE and said she was there...THERE WAS NO ONE THERE AND NOTHING HOLDING THE SPOT**

Other than that it was a really great show! We didn't let sourpuss ruin it!:cool1:

The picnic food is quite good. Be sure to eat your meal beforehand in the area where you pick it up. There are lots of tables with umbrellas There is no place eat it where you are directed to stand for WoC. The area that you are directed to stand to see the show is fine, but you really should not get in until you 1) finish your meal and 2) are ready to stand up and wait. We found the waiting experience rather annoying. There is nothing to do while waiting except listen to the music and watch the hypnotizing colors on the ferris wheel. It gets a little cold at night, too.
