Are the Wish aft stairs more crowded than forward?

I noticed on the deck plan that there are a lot more staterooms in aft past the elevators/stairs than there are in forward past that set of elevators/stairs. That made me think that the aft stairs may get more crowded as they are closer to a greater number of rooms. Is that the case in anyone's experience? Considering switching our room from aft to forward based on this, but I like the non-connecting room I have in aft and can't get that in forward. TIA!

We stayed in 10098 midship but it was right by the aft stairs, perfect location.
Most of the time the stairs were quiet, but during busier times it was a lot of people going up and down but doable. I would definitely stay in that stateroom again.
I guess it would also depend on what deck you are on.

I think it depends more on the time of day than location. Around the beginning or end of either dinner or show time, both sets of stairs (and elevators) are jammed. Most other times of day, neither set of stairs seem all that busy when we happen to be in the elevator/stair areas.

We were very far aft so usually used those stairs and elevators when leaving our room but used both forward and aft depending on where we were when going back to our room. I can't say I noticed much difference.
