Are the water parks fun in November?

My family of four has been to WDW two other times (April, May). Our upcoming trip this year will either be 10/17-10/24 or 11/14-11/21. It sounds like November would be less crowded, with milder weather. But will it feel warm enough for our kids (13 & 11) to swim (they love the resort pools and water parks)? Will TL or BB be closed in November? If TL is closed that's ok, we've not tried BB yet. But will that mean BB will be packed? Or are the water parks just not that crazy busy in November anyway? We come from the cold state of Michigan.

Besides the swimming issue, we don't have a preference over Halloween or Xmas decorations; both would be great; we're not planning on going to either party. Food & wine is not necessarily an interest for us, just heard it can make Epcot more crowded.

October - +warmer, +both water parks open, -crowded Food & Wine still going on
November - +less crowded?, +more comfortable temps, -but less swimming?????

Thanks!

November can be warm enough to swim, but there's no guarantee. One water park will be closed November/December and then the other one will be closed January/February - typically BB will open November/December because the winter theming is appropriate for the holiday season, but it's not a given. I wouldn't expect either water park to be busy in November because it's the off season. Food & Wine is only an issue on the weekends.
