Are the Swimming pools warm?

The Disney pools claim to be 84 degrees or something like that, what I'd call barely warm but much better than most ice cold hotel pools.

How do the Universal hotel pools compare? Are they Disney warm or will our lips be blue and teeth chattering within 5 minutes?

oh, and I forgot to ask -- do they have hot tubs like the Disney Moderates do?

The pools are heated and warm. We were there in December and it was FREEZING outside. My kids went swimming every day. Yes, all three have hot-tubs. Portofino Bay has 3 and the other two have 2 each. You can also pool hop too! just like at Disney - oh wait.

They are warm unless it rains all day.

Rain tends to cool them off.
