Are the rental strollers cleaned?

Don't want to be nuts about this, but a good friend of mine (also a Grammy) is just back from her trip to WDW and she said that while leaving epcot at closing time she noticed that the strollers were just being stacked for the next day. We both wondered if the stollers are cleaned or wiped down or something before the next child uses it!? Does anybody know? There is another good reason to bring disinfectant wipes with you. Grammy

I'm Not sure. But we always carry baby wipes as well as two blankets to put down on the bottom of the stroller. The plastic can get pretty hot in the sun. Than they have the other in case they need a nap.

I have seen them hosed off and then stacked before, but I've also just seen them stacked up for the night too.

So, not sure if there's daily cleaning or not.

If I were renting I'd DEFINITELY clean it off myself! It's the only way you can be sure it's at least been wiped down.

I've seen times where they were out and then a person would bring one back and they'd flip it right back out to someone waiting for a stroller...no hose down, or wipe down. That kind of gave me the willies! Ewww! I would definitely use something to wipe it down if you had to rent one from them. Maybe bring a pack of Lysol wipes.

I did not notice them cleaning them while we we there, but I would suggest wiping it down yourself. In all reality tho how many other things do the kids touch while at Disney especially the metal rails while waiting inline...
