Are the OKW rooms quite?

I will be going to OKW as an II guest next month in a one bedroom, From reading these boards I belive it is a LO attached to a studio. Do I have to be more concerned about hearing the people next door. My daughter is a light sleeper and was thinking about bringing down a white noise clock but it might not be needed if the walls are solid.

Will she be sleeping in the master bedroom or in the living room? In the master bedroom, you can close the door, which will block out noise from the studio. If she's sleeping in the living room, it can be noisy, depending on the neighbors.

All 1BR villas at OKW are lock-offs. If you find there is unacceptable noise from the adjoining studio, try stuffing a towel under the connecting door to nute sounds and be sure to set the fan (the central AC fan- not the ceiling fan) to "On" instead of "Auto". We find that provides a good level of white noise that blocks out a lot of external sounds from the villa.

You may not even hear a peep from the studio either- not everyone is loud. We had a 1BR last week and had no extraneous noise at all.

Last fall we had a one br at OKW. My 6yo has always been a light sleeper so at check-in I asked if there were any first floor end units open. There was and the unit backed up to the golf course so we let her sleep on the pull-out in the living room. she had no problems at all.

We don't often stay in 1 bedrooms, but when we have, we have only once had troubles with noise from the studio side neighbors. That included someone trying the door between the units. For what it's worth, we had the same thing happen at SSR. We have had more issues with having a unit under a GV when we have been on the first floor. Because the GVs have hardwood floors in the living room/dining room area, the bouncing super balls and noisey toys can be a bit of an issue for those in the 1,2 bedroom or studio units below.
