That's the only thing that has happened. The fry place back in Africa is still there. So is the fry cart in the Magic Kingdom and the Refreshment Port in Epcot and the fry place along Sunset Boulevard in the Studios.
Disney and McDonald's no longer have their agreement (it ended after 10 years at Disney's request) so that leads to rumors that say McDonald's will be phased out of the parks. Absolutely nothing has happened except to take one place in Animal Kingdom and change to Disney chicken nuggets.
I never ate there...I figure if I want Mickey D's, I don't need to come to WDW to get it. On the other hand, I can understand some kids needing some "comfort" food where everything feels new and different. Sorry to all who are missing their "fix".
Thanks you guys, I knew I could depend on you for the answer to my question. Good to know as we quite often use the McD's fries to get us through till dinner. Thanks again

True, althought it is rare to find a McD store that is busy enough at off peak times to offer consistently perfect, hot, fresh fries. the stands in the parks are turning out mcd fries at their best...which are pretty darn good.
