Are the lights on the Castle yet?

I was wondering if anyone knew if the castle is lit up for Christmas yet? I have seen pictures of it looking like it is covered in snow, but I want to see pictures of it all lit up! I think they are covering it in white lights and icicles this year. Anyone???

My guess is if they are filming the christmas parade as advertised this weekend, then all the lights and decorations are up along the parade route.... but I'll be able to tell you for sure Saturday

No lights on the castle as of last night. There is snow on the castle though.

We'll see what it's like tonight.

I have read on MousePlanet that there are fiber optic lights embedded underneath that snow. There are also icicle lights n the castle. They just aren't lighting them up yet.

I was looking for the lights in the snow this weekend and you can see the little light embedded into the snow. Looks like it will be beautiful.

Sweet! Maybe they'll be on tonight or tomorrow! They're opening It's a Small World tomorrow with it's holiday makeover, so perhaps the lights on the castle will coincide with that.

The crowds were a little heavier today than yesterday, but still not bad. We didn't wait longer than 10-15 minutes for any attraction. I'm sure tomorrow and Saturday will be busier. We've had an awesome time so far (hard not to have a good time at Disney though)!

This is the first year they are doing it. Supposedly, they are doing new special lighting effects on the castle during Believe fireworks.

OH the castle sounds just lovely right now. I am totally jealous that all of you can be there to see it. I would give anything to go at Christmas to see such a thing. Perhaps next year.

That's what it looked like last weekend. I didn't look for lights but didn't know I should either. I can't wait to see it in December, with the fireworks!!

no lights on the castle tonight. They have blocked off the tunnel through the castle for the parade filming tomorrow, whichakes getting to FL harder.

Was I the only one slightly confused about the "snow" on the castle? When we were there last weekend It took me till the last day of our trip to "accept" that it was snow when I looked at the castle. Before that everytime I looked at it I just thought "Dalmation Spots" everytime I saw it.

I don't like the dotted effect of the snow either. It looks unfinished. But from what I understand, the snow is supposed to fill in as it gets closer to Christmas.
