I don't believe Askerhus was opened then and I'm not sure about Biergarten. They spent most of their time in the English and French restaurants. The food was more on par with Victoria and Alberts. Children were not encouraged to eat at the restaurants.

Personally, I'd be happy enough if they'd just make the table service restaurants more like the signature ones, make the signature ones a notch better, and make the family style ones more on par with the current table service restaurants. That would be "good enough" in my book.
But to have many different truly fine dining choices as you described above . . . [Where's a drooling smiley when you need one?]
