I was checking out work from home type jobs and I noticed several survey type job advertisements. Some you pay a fee to start (which I have always heard NEVER take a job that requires a fee) or you have to do a trial offer of some type which also involves money spent. I have a legit work from home job now that I have been doing for almost 1 1/2 years, but the hours are limited that I can work, so I thought I would spend some time searching online for "other legit" work from home jobs. Do any of you do surveys and actually make money doing them? I am not talking reward points type of compensation, but actual moola. Always looking for ways to make DISNEY MONEY. :thumbsup2:thumbsup2

A better option is to do secret shoppers. I did that years ago, just out of high school. I probably made about 50 bucks out of the whole deal, but it wasn't too bad.

Back in Ft Lauderdale, at the Broward Mall, there was a survey spot. Any time we wanted a few bucks to buy Auntie Annes pretzels, we'd walk past the survey people and hope they'd pick one of us. The most I made was 10$ for about a 1/2 hr of my time, but usually got a buck or two for 10-15 minutes of my time.

Or you can hunt around for the rental shopping carts in the parking lot to return for your 25 cent reward. Another fun activity at the Sawgrass Mills Mall.

The one I came across is called Project Payday. Have you ever heard of that?

be careful, many of the surveys are not legit and you will end up sharing more personal info than you would like to, I did secret shopping for 6 months but never made very much at all, always check the BBB and make sure the company you partner with has a good rating :)

I have made money with mindfield, surveysavvy, OpinionOutpost, inboxdollars, sendearnings, ***************. For my last Disney trip I cashed out over $500 that I had made in about 6 months time...:)

I joined a site called Survey Spot. It is strictly surveys that are emailed to you daily. The rewards are based from points so each point is 1 cent. Most surveys are 50 points but there are still quite a few that range from 100-350. The money is then deposited into a Paypal account. Super easy. I believe they just opened up a shop where you can use points for gift cards and stuff but the kinks haven't been worked out yet.
Since November I have earned about $190. This definitely can't take place for an actual job but more of some extra money for Disney.
I was also sent some test products (by my permission) such as potato chips, mayonnaise, lip balm and paper towels. The rewards ranged from $5-20.
Just to note that when I first started it took 4-6 weeks for the reward to come through and then after a few months, I was rewarded instantly after completing the survey. I don't know if this is a new procedure or not but just to give you a heads up.
Customer service was very good and I have never been sent anything through email or reg mail that was not legit.
;)

Surveys are great, but they are NOT a "job." If you are looking for steady, predictable income, you should look at real companies that hire people to work from home like Alpine Access, LiveOps etc.

Surveys are just a little extra cash here and there when you've got nothing better to do on the computer. My favorite survey companies are MySurvey, Opinion Outpost, SurveySavvy, Global Test Panel and TestSpin.

***edited to add...do NOT pay anything to join survey companies. The legit ones are FREE to join and NEVER ask you for credit card info etc. Legit survey companies are market research companies contracted by other companies to find out information from consumers. The people who take surveys get paid - they do NOT pay to participate!

I actually have a REAL work from home job but the hours are limited to just a couple of hours in the morning because I am on another country's time. I also work outside the home part-time (subbing) but have cut back those hours to accommodate my youngest son's new school's hours, so I was looking for something like you said.....when you have time on your hands. Something I could do to add money to the Disney Fund from time to time. I am not looking for a job to pay bills...... just Disney fun money. :)

If that's the case, surveys are a great addition to the Disney fund! I generally make anywhere between $30-100 a month extra from them. And it's easy to do while just watching tv or whatever.

Pinecone Research is legit but you don't get much and they aren't always looking for people.

WOW you know what? I think I did some for them many years ago. I will have to check into that again. Thanks.

I am from Canada, would I be able to do the surveys or do you have to be within the States?

I do surveys online for free to. mypoints , quickrwards , simplegpt . That is able to on trip to US while unemployment because the trip was free. IE had free gas cards, restaurants gift cards, hotel gift cards and cash all earn from surveys. Yes it can be done.

Now I got in my head that want go WDW cruise to Bahamas. That is have wait until I get a job. Got use the survey money to pay essentials right now.

I would try cha cha and kbg . I have done those because my grammar and spelling is not good at all.

PS I am paying for Christmas this year with swagbucks that cash for amazon gift cards. I almost 400.00 amazon gift cards

If you are a licensed health care professional, medsurveys.com can be pretty lucrative. I get a 20 to 30 minute survey every 6 to 8 weeks to fill out that pays $125 or more, mostly pharmacuticals. I figure it is helping shape new drugs and is a great return for a few minutes work.

Had to edit. Typing on this phone is tough!

I use surveyhead. It is legit, but sometimes takes a month to gt money once you cash out. I am happy with the site.

Dedicated work-at-home forums such as WAHM.com or workplacelikehome.com contain a lot of information about scams, survey sites, and actual work-at-home jobs and independent contractor work. Do some research there and ask questions before you sign up for anything.

Sunshine Rewards. I have earned $500 in 4 months doing surveys and a little shopping. The pay outs may not seem like much at first but once you start doing them it adds up. And you cash out for Disney gift cards!

I have been a secret shopper for almost 2 yrs now. I average about 400 to 500 a month. It has been a good supplement to our income.

Okay I don't know what is up and what is down after joining survey sites last night. It seems you join one and somehow end up joining others from that site. I truly don't even know what is what. :rotfl2: If I have made any money...I probably can't figure out which site it was to see what was made. :rotfl: I am survey failure. :lmao:
