Are the CM's just saying no more FD?

Are they just saying that so people will stop calling? I have had several CM's tell me it was a good chance we would get FD for November, but getting discouraged with all the DIS friends on here saying that the CM's they have talked to said no more.

The wait is killing me.

Today I saw someone post that a CM told them to keep an eye out for more free dining. I really think they don't know at all. Some maybe don't want people to get their hopes up, so tell them no more. Others don't want to squash our hopes so they say keep watching. LOL It is no fun, but this same waiting game happens year after year. I am not counting on free dining, but I am hoping for it. And if it doesn't happen I am 99.9% sure we will get something. Maybe room only, but that will help some, right?

I had a really bad phone call yesterday morning. The CM gave me a whole run down of why what was out was it. I know that they know things when we do for the most part but man was she convincing! Also, if it was just a random person calling,someone who doesn't peruse these boards, I don't think that I would be vacationing at Disney after said phone call. It would have been too much of a turn off. I can't see them not doing some type of special even if it is a RO deal. FD would be so much nicer though

It really depends on how many empty rooms there are. If they still have alot of empty rooms, they will probably put a discount out. If not, why would they? The average phone CM is not involved in that decision.
